Alimony Pony

Robert Leona retained us after his ex-wife, Judy, had come after him for more alimony, claiming she was destitute. Robert did not believe her, and thought she had a new husband assisting with household expenses. Robert requested that we identify Judy's assets and any unreported income.

We found Judy owns a house where she rents two bedrooms to foreign students, for $550 monthly per room. Judy also owns a one-bedroom condominium apartment, valued at $163,000, with her new or common-law husband, which she also rents out. In addition to her known employment, we confirmed that she operates a business placing overseas students in private homes. Judy had also recently purchased a red convertible!

Robert Leona now had ample ammunition to combat his ex-wife's claims.
